Can I move an over-sized vehicle?
Of course! If your vehicle is bigger than any standard vehicle, it is imperative that you inform the company that is moving your vehicle so they can secure an appropriate mode of moving. If you’re vehicle has any modifications that affect the overall size or weight, mark that down and let the company know ahead of time. This is important because if you do not tell the moving company about your 4-inch lift kit (which makes it impossible to move on a standard 10-car carrier), you will be charged more money because you misrepresented your vehicle.

For a lot of people the bottom line is all that matters. I realize that economic times are tough and most of the people I speak with daily are interested in getting the best price possible. I would like to point out a few things to the customer looking to deal directly with the drivers as opposed to paying a freight broker. read article...
Re: invention?
as everybody knows by now, gm, the nation’s largest auto manufacturers effectively bit the dust on monday. it is a little astounding to me how we have a special name for a large business failing (filing for chapter 11 sounds like bureaucratic jargon for the end of a work day). they announced that they would be filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy last week, though honestly i think we would all be denying ourselves the truth if we say that we haven’t seen this coming for a long time now. read article...
Best Cars in a Crash
i’ve blogged a lot about the economy and its effect on the automobile industry, but what we haven’t really delved into is the cars themselves, and namely, which ones are the safest. a few names come to mind in terms of safety: volvo, bmw, mercedes benz, toyota – these are the major european and japanese auto makers, sure, and they make a great product. but some of the choices for the best cars to be in when you get hit (or hit something) might surprise you. read article...

What isn't clear is why people always say "goes without saying," yet still feel compelled to say the thing that was supposed to go without saying. Doesn't that bother you?
