How long will it take to move my boat?
Some boat moving companies will promise unrealistic moving times so you will employ them. But, because this industry is route-based, times will vary depending on which route it is, what time of the year it is, and of course the weather. Generally, if you’re moving your boat coast-to-coast, it will take 7-14 days. If you going from south to north, it may take 3-4. However, if you’re coming or going to the Northeast and New England, it may take a bit longer depending on how the weather is looking. If there is a storm brewing that might dump inches of snow onto the region, you may have to wait until it passes (this is due to truck and cargo safety).

Boat MoverAn boat mover is a person or company that actually transports boats. Typically boat movers drive open ten boat carriers (like the ones you see taking new boats to dealerships), but there are other kinds as well. For instance, some boat movers only drive three boat trailers – these are great for short trips in-state; others drive huge semi trucks with trailers that move expensive sports boats or classic boats enclosed. There are many different types of boat movers on the road today, so you should be able to find the boat mover that you are looking for.

See.. there are other things besides bankruptcy happening.
here’s another interesting piece of auto industry news i happened across today. you may be familiar with a piece of legislation that has been discussed for a few months now and was voted on by the house of representatives yesterday. this legislation is nicknamed “cash for guzzlers” and entails pretty much what you would expect given the title. read article...
